CHBDC Economic Development Strategy & Action Plan

Third Bearing Limited successfully secured Provincial Growth Funding and proceeded to develop an Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan for Central Hawke’s Bay District Council.  The aim is to increase jobs and prosperity, diversification and resilience, and overall improvement in the District economy.  The Strategy considers the district’s economic advantages, high productivity assets and attributes including quality agricultural land, natural resources, temperate climate, central location, and excellent transport network (including Napier Port). The Action Plan seeks to turn the opportunities into action by identifying priorities, resourcing and the partnerships required for economic success.
